NYPD: Woman, 26, stabbed in a state apartment complex in Staten Island

Staten Island, NY-a 26-year-old woman was stabbed in Dongan Hills Wednesday afternoon, the police said.

According to a NYPD spokesman, the victim suffered wounds stabbed in the chest and stomach with an unknown object in the vicinity of 30 Dongan Hills., Part of the Berry Houses complex of the New York Housing Authority, around 2:45 pm.

The victim was transported by EMS in stable condition to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze, the police said.

There were no arrests, but the police are currently looking for a man who wears a jacket, black pants and blue mask, said the spokesman.

The investigation continues, the police said.
