Pedestrian in critical condition after being hit by car in New Britain

NEW BRITAIN, CT (WFSB) – A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a car early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian near 61 Arch St. before 7 a.m.

Following the incident, the driver of the car remained at the scene.

The pedestrian was transported to Hospital of Central Connecticut (THOCC) for treatment and is listed in critical condition.
