FEMA: North Carolina Helene response by the numbers

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) released a chart, “North Carolina’s Helene Response by the Numbers,” on Tuesday. This shows where funds and resources have been allocated.

Some of these numbers include:

  • $262 million Household assistance
  • $274 million for community recovery
  • 1.55 million cubic meters of debris were removed
  • 42 Households in Direct Housing
  • 5,200 applicants stayed in TSA hotels
