ACP Driu says law enforcement operations continue to step up their efforts against illegal drug trafficking, which remains a difficult problem.

He adds that the focus of the police extends beyond simply making an arrest.

ACP Driu says the aim is to disrupt the drug trade on multiple fronts as authorities continue to monitor all five police divisions for illicit activities.

Police are expected to carry out further operations in the coming days ahead of the festive season.
