16-year-old among victims killed in double shooting

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCBD) – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified a 16-year-old male among the victims killed Tuesday night. double shot in Cross.

The medical examiner positively identified a 16-year-old male from Cross and Mr. Kee Juan D. Middleton, 25, of Cross as the victims killed on Spiers Landing Road.

The coroner’s office reports that at 10:07 p.m. they were called to a fatal assault in the Cross community where two people were found dead.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office said law enforcement received reports of the shooting around 7:30 p.m.

Berkeley County EMS, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and Central Berkeley Fire & Rescue responded to the incident.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
