Gwyneth Paltrow spotted eating steak and ice cream at New York hotspot after being slammed for ‘starvation diet’

Gwyneth Paltrow swapped her bone broth for au jus.

After facing backlash for her health tips that were called “starvation diet”, the ‘Shakespeare In Love’ star was spotted celebrating with a steak sandwich, fries and a massive ice cream sundae at The Corner Store in NYC Friday.

A Page Six spy spotted the 52-year-old actress ordering Wagyu French Dip Sandwich ($35), Classic Sea Salt Fries ($12) and Samoa Sundae ($18), while she dined with longtime friend Amy Griffin and another unidentified friend.

“Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” star Morgan Stewart was also at a booth next to them.

Page Six reached out to Paltrow’s representatives for comment, but did not immediately hear back.

This new sighting comes nearly two years after Paltrow admitted in an episode of the “The Art of Being Well” podcast. that he practices intermittent fasting and usually eats bone broth for lunch and paleo food for dinner.

At the time, former “View” co-host. Meghan McCain slammed the Oscar winner’s “washed out” look. McCain also blasted the Goop founder for “broadcasting” his lifestyle to the world and “selling” it on his lifestyle brand’s website.

The “Iron Man” actress later defended her health advicesaying that because he was suffering from “very high levels of inflammation” and prolonged COVID, he had to eat a very specific diet.

“I’ve been trying to really focus on foods that are non-inflammatory and (and) work really well,” the “Shallow Hal” star said on her Instagram story in March 2023.

“This is based on my medical results and the extensive testing I’ve done over time,” she continued, noting that her daily diet was “not meant to be advice for anyone else.”

Paltrow went on to say that her eating habits “have been very powerful and positive” for her. However, she also made it clear that she doesn’t eat those routine foods “all day every day.”

Paltrow also claimed that she eats “a lot more than just bone broth and vegetables,” saying, “I eat full meals. I also have days where I eat whatever I want, fries or whatever.”

Clearly, she wasn’t kidding—even Paltrow has cheat days. Stars i am just like us.
